È FIGURA

An exhibition exploring the body in our time is more relevant than ever. Never before has the body been analyzed, scrutinized, judged, and cared for—even to the point of excess—as it is in this era.
“È FIGURA – The Body Tells Its Story” is a collective event that places the figure—or rather, the body—at its center, viewed not as a mere physical object nor as a machine guided by the mind, but as a living subject through which we experience the world. Through diverse perspectives and artistic languages, the exhibition explores the multiple dimensions of bodily presence: anticipation and absence, irony and melancholy, fragments of daily life, provocation and mischief, all the way to evocations of Body Art. The body thus becomes a space for connection, memory, identity, and transformation—capable of conveying what words sometimes fail to express.
