About
AMACI - the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums - is a non-profit association that today brings together 28 of the most prestigious public museums in Italy.
Founded in 2003 with the aim of promoting the languages of contemporary art and supporting the development of an institutional policy on contemporaneity, AMACI positions itself as a point of reference for the dissemination of study and research on contemporary museum practices, both in Italy and abroad.
