Arnaldo Pomodoro – Inside Matters

To mark Gironata del Contemporaneo at October 10th, 2026, the Pinacoteca Molajoli is offering themed guided tours dedicated to Arnaldo Pomodoro, due the centennial of the artist’s birth. The tour begins with the work “Sasso” (1982), exposed in the contemporary art section “La Casa di Ester,” offering an opportunity to explore some of the central themes of Pomodoro’s artistic practice: the relationship between material, form, surface, and space. Through observation of the work, visitors will be guided on a journey to discover the artist’s intention in a continuous dialogue between the natural dimension of the material and the creative intervention.
