What is matter?

Receiving people in my studio to show my work-not just to get feedback, but above all to start a conversation, an exchange of ideas, feelings, and opinions about art, the works and life. My magmatic work represents what a magnetic field might look like. Shapes created using techniques that mimic nature’s way of operating: complex, indeterminate, unpredictable. I want to convey to visitors this sense of letting flow-within this process-primary forms, lumps of my lived experience, and of chance, to show that every single gesture I make carries my being and my memory. They evoke my body, which I see timidly emerging on the canvas in a continuous metamorphosis.
