Guided tour with the curator of the temporary exhibition dedicated to the artist Nicoletta Bonarelli, on display at the Pinacoteca Civica “Francesco Podesti” from 12 September to 1 November 2026.
Nicoletta Bonarelli was an Italian 20th-century painter, whose training was rooted in the Roman School. She was a student of Ferruccio Ferrazzi at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
Her artistic research began with observation of reality and the human figure, gradually moving towards a more introspective and symbolic representation. In the post-war period, she developed a distinctive artistic language, particularly characterised by depictions of motherhood, the Great Mothers, and archetypal female figures, through which she explored themes such as motherhood, femininity, and the condition of women.Educational workshops for children aged 3 to 10, discovering the techniques contemporary artists use to bring their artworks to life
