Once again this year, StudioDieci reaffirms its commitment to and passion for contemporary art by participating in the 22nd Contemporary Art Day (Giornata del Contemporaneo), promoted by AMACI – Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums with the support of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, opening its doors once more to the “Ambrogio Alciati” Art High School of Vercelli.
In keeping with its mission to support and empower the younger generations, StudioDieci chose to interpret this edition’s theme by inviting the students of class 5A (Figurative Arts) to reflect on the concept of geography, providing them with actual geographical maps as a foundational support to work on. The world itself thus becomes an open border—to be questioned, broken down, protected, or reimagined. A wooden table resting on two trestles will serve as a gathering space and locus of exchange for creative decision-making. The ideas first conceived and developed in the classroom will take shape within the spaces of StudioDieci, bringing to life an event that blends education, trust, hope, and a profound love for the present that shapes tomorrow.
