Gard Factory

Gard Gallery active in Rome since 1995, has collaborated with over 1,000 artists over the years, allowing for freedom of expression across various styles and techniques. Its exhibitions have encompassed figurative, abstract, *informel*, and conceptual art, spanning highly expressive mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and performance art. With this exhibition, Gard opens its doors to the artists who have engaged most closely with the gallery—reflecting both long-standing relationships and an alignment with the aesthetic vision of its artistic curator, Sonia Mazzoli. The works on display will thus revolve around a “theme/non-theme,” freely expressing the connection between the participating artists and this historic Roman venue. On Saturday, October 10—coinciding with Contemporary Art Day—curator Sonia Mazzoli will give a presentation of the exhibition.
