ARCHÈOFUTURE

An exhibition that takes a stance of inquiry and reflection on Art, through Art. A two-person show featuring artists Gianluca Cresciani and Silvia Marchionne who, with different expressive languages but similar meaningful intentions, offer a hint and a suggestion of how contemporary art is a synthesis of Past and Future and cannot do without History, and the iconography and iconology of the past. There exists an Archè of the Future of which an artist today becomes the interpreter: Cresciani, with his “contemporary with memories” Painting, with an aesthetic of De-Corum, of the “lacerto”, between grotesques, minimal symbolism and Street Art, and Marchionne with her “In ArteEstEtica” thought, her expressive eclecticism, which alternates an instinctive, gestural painting to recall the Four Elements and where we come from, with polymaterial collages and contemporary graphics that investigate in parallel QRCodes, barcodes and archaic symbols of a Humanitas to be recovered.
