FragmentActions: one word, one idea, the most appropriate to describe and summarize Sergio Belacchi’s work. These mosaics draw inspiration from ancient mosaic surfaces and, like a free, white palette, are interpreted in the design and execution of the mosaic surface. This surface projects into a three-dimensional and material dimension, through the movement of the tiles, as if narrating the passage of time.
A memory both physical and emotional, capable of constantly changing through dialogue with light.
