Nine sculptures plus one, enveloped in a futuristic atmosphere inspired by the Master Umberto Boccioni. Light, transparency, reflection, and eternity captivate the artist Cardellini; he first perceives and internalizes the metal, then falls in love with it. The steel proves malleable yet incredibly resilient—solid and strong—much like the themes the artist explores. Through his ability to shape this metal, he presents works of profound conceptual depth; moving beyond the representation of real objects, he embraces an essential style that is simultaneously powerful in its expressive and mystical impact. Umberto Boccioni remains a source of inspiration for Cardellini; fascinated by the Master’s artistic restlessness, dynamism, and diverse body of work, the artist seeks to pay homage to him in this exhibition by dedicating a specific sculpture and a performance to him. Particularly noteworthy is the artist’s version of the “Madonna and Child,” crafted entirely from steel.
