Reality and fiction. Marina Chiavegat

Art exhibition, painting and masks.
“The pictorial works of Marina Chiavegato are made on canvases and fabrics with primary colours and of great emotional impact. Experimental pictorial works in which the abstract predominates chromatically over the human figurative element. The body and the face become almost a symbology in its gestures that at times profiles an Egyptian iconography, but quickly moves to tribalism or naive intuitions. He expresses interest in florality and informal expressions of the unconscious. Even in the sculpture of papier-mâché masks, the author flaunts an eclectic manual skills and the symbolism returns, the myth with some hints of the zodiac”.
