Marina Previtali

The volume Milano messa in opera, published by Silvana Editoriale, comprises 85 accounts written by prominent figures from the various professional fields active in the Lombardy region. What emerges is a sense of pride in belonging and a shared spirit that embraces the many layers of metropolitan sensibility—a sensibility given tangible form through the narrative of a shared destiny, acting as an underlying theme in a body of literature defined by creative freedom. The powerful expressive intensity of Marina Previtali’s work—thirty oil-on-canvas paintings—warms the heart of the written words, while the text itself encourages the embrace of a challenge: the possibility of transcendence.
