IT’S LevantE

E’LEvante is a work open to creativity. E’LEvantE is an artistic project conceived by Paolo De Santoli, born from the desire to transform a simple vase into a symbol of identity, participation, and dialogue with the local area. Inspired by traditional Mediterranean forms, the vase is not conceived as a static, finished piece, but rather as a shared, ever-evolving language. For this reason, the creator has chosen to make the model freely available, inviting artists and students from art high schools and fine arts academies to reinterpret it through their own creative sensibilities. While each intervention preserves the recognizability of the original shape, it enriches the work’s meaning through new decorations, colors, materials, and expressive styles. The goal is to create a collection of unique pieces—united by a common design origin yet distinct in their interpretation—thereby transforming E’LEvantE into a collective project that bridges contemporary art, education, and the promotion of cultural heritage.
The E’levante collection serves as a central hub for a “radial crossing” of ideas and influences from diverse geographical locations.
This installation features works by masters Massimo Nardi, Giuseppe di Muro, Donatella Di Bisceglie, Pamela Mansi, and Paolo De Santoli. Also on display are works by students from the Ceramic Design program at the “Federico II Stupor Mundi” Art High School in Corato (Bari).
