The Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm is happy to present an evening dedicated to the poet Patrizia Cavalli.
Thursday October 8th at 6 pm the poetry collection “Le mie poesie non cambieranno il mondo” will be presented, on the occasion of its’ Swedish translation by Ida Andersen for our publishing house Castaditalia. To celebrate Giornata del Contemporaneo, we will also inaugurate the exhibition “Patrizia Cavalli. Che cosa è mio?” by Lorenzo Castore, made up of photographs taken in the poet’s apartment shortly after her passing.
Leading us in this exploration of Patrizia Cavalli are Ida Andersen, translator of the book, Henrik Sahl Johansson, literary critic who wrote the introduction to the Swedish translation, and Lorenzo Castore, photographer and a great admirer of Cavalli. Together they will discuss her poetry, her life and her cultural impact.
