The Dedalo Art Gallery presents the fifth edition of “Anime Nuove,” a competition dedicated to contemporary creativity and the discovery of new artists within the contemporary scene, challenging them with ever-changing themes and techniques.
For this edition, “Il Tempo del Grappolo” (The Time of the Grape Cluster) places one of the most iconic moments of Italian culture—the grape harvest—at the heart of artistic exploration.
It is an ancient time, deeply rooted in the land and defined by specific gestures, colors, scents, landscapes, and people. The harvest represents a meeting point between tradition and modernity, where the grape and its gathering become the protagonists of a grand collective movement.
Artists are invited to interpret the theme freely through their own sensibilities and artistic languages, capturing the harvest’s multifaceted nature and the emotions it evokes through a personal, contemporary lens.
With “Il Tempo del Grappolo,” Anime Nuove seeks to bridge the past and the present, inviting artists to view the harvest not merely as a tradition to be depicted, but as a living heritage to be reinterpreted through contemporary art.
The exhibition will conclude with the awards ceremony—attended by the artists and local officials—on October 10, 2026.
