On the occasion of the Giornata del Contemporaneo, Spazio Eughen opens the doors of artist Eughen (1942–2025) to the public for a special opening in the heart of Trastevere.
For decades, this space was a place of work, research and experimentation. Today it still preserves artworks, materials, surfaces, tools and traces of the artist’s everyday practice. The opening invites visitors to discover the studio and Spazio Eughen as a place of memory, archive and contemporary research. During the day, the public will be able to explore the space, learn about its history and encounter a selection of works from different periods of Florjančič’s artistic practice.
More than an exhibition, the event is conceived as an act of opening: a private place of creation is temporarily returned to the city as a space for encounter, discovery and exchange.
