Monica Antonelli: Open Studio and Sculpture

On the occasion of the 22nd Contemporary Art Day, artist and sculptor Monica Antonelli opens the doors of her studio for a Studio Visit dedicated to ceramic materials and their plastic transformations.
Throughout the day, visitors can access the artist’s workspace to closely discover the entire creative process of sculpture: from terracotta and ceramic modeling, to mold and cast making, up to sophisticated finishing techniques such as gilding and artistic patinas.
The exhibition path within the studio gathers a selection of three-dimensional artworks, sketches, and preparatory studies focused on the human figure and condition, offering an opportunity for direct dialogue and connection with the artist regarding the social and poetic value of contemporary sculptural form.
