SATURN-ARS: Biennial of Art and Wine around the Via Claudia Augusta returns to the Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera gallery in Rovere’ della Luna.
The event brings together contemporary artists and wineries in an exhibition of art and wine: the works on display become artist labels on the bottles on display, a process of proposal and encounter between production and creativity along the historic Roman Via Claudia Augusta.
The competing blends for the 2026 edition are Pinot Grigio and Schiava.
Among the wineries producing these types of wines, this year’s entries include Lis Neris from Friuli-Venezia Giulia; from Alto Adige/Südtirol, the Hadrburg, Salurnis, Tramin, and Cantina Meran; From Trentino, participating producers include Cantina Sociale Rovere’ della Luna/Aichholz, Toniolli, Nicolodi Alfio, and Cantina Corvée, Cantina Rotaliana Mezzolombardo, Cantina Simoni, Gaierhof, Endrizzi-Serpaia, La Vis, Cantina Mezzacorona, Monfort, Cantina Cesconi, Dorigati, Pojer and Sandri, Villa Persani, and the Edmund Mach Foundation.
The Biennale of Art and Wine around the Via Claudia Augusta will also include a SATURN-ARS Award for the 2026 edition. The award will be chosen by an expert Sommelier Committee to select the best wine selected for the exhibition. The award will be paired with the best label among those created to represent the wines on display by a second Artistic Committee, which will also be voted on by the audience.
The artists who have submitted their works for the SaturnArs 2026 artist labels are: Annamaria Adessi, Ilario Dalvit, Mattia De Luca, Paolo Frizzera, Elena Gramola, Patrizia Macor, Eleonora Mazzaferro, Paolo Ober, Sharon Plancher, Gentile Polo, Sandro Ramani, Renato Sclaunich, Martina Sperduto, Alessandra Tambara, Agostino Tulumello, Roberta Zanghellini, and Luciana Zecchini.
During the entire month of the exhibition, the public will be able to vote in the room for their favorite artist labels and original works.
The SaturnArs: Biennial of Art and Wine around the Via Claudia Augusta event is a Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera (Borderline Art) project, created with the approval of the Municipality of Rovere della Luna, the support of Cassa Rurale Val di Non Rotaliana and Giovo, and the collaboration of volunteers, artists, and participating wineries.
The Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera gallery is barrier-free and accessible to people with mobility difficulties.
