Resonances

Paths represent the evolution of the artists visual language, a phase in which her research opens toward a broader dimension compared to Nastri in Movimento. While the latter investigated luminous vibration and visual memory, in Paths the artist also directs her gaze toward the interweaving of experiences, affections, and emotional transitions: an inner geography that dialogues with the energy of relationships and with the transformations of existence.
The surface of the works, articulated by tridimensional grooves developing from bottom to top, becomes a dynamic visual field crossed by lines that advance, brush against one another, diverge, or suddenly meet.
These grooves are not mere formal elements but physical traces of an emotional trajectory: signs evoking unexpected departures, changes of direction, interruptions, and turning points. Some distances collapse as if drawn together by an invisible energetic force; others remain suspended, suggesting possible paths of light not taken or only intuited.
Color assumes a role of synthesis: each tone gathers people, places, and energies retained in the present time. In painting, the artist allows what she lives and experiences to surface onto the canvas, giving the works an immediate emotional quality. The resulting trajectories carry echoes of intense moments, periods of transformation and inspiration, encounters that have left an imprint or altered the direction of the journey.
Paths thus also become a reflection on multiple possibilities: segments that break off become memories of what might have been; grafts and bifurcations suggest alternative directions; luminous openings indicate thresholds through which other journeys may be glimpsed. Each painting holds its own internal rhythm, its equilibrium of light and shadow generated by emotional and energetic interferences, sudden deviations, moments of
momentum or arrest. Taken together, these works outline a symbolic landscape in which pictorial matter becomes narration. The lines, with their curvilinear movement, evoke a propulsive energetic force guiding forward, as if each path were inscribed within a subtle pattern – sometimes harmonious, sometimes in tension with inner desires and resistances. Yet beyond the appearance of a predetermined direction remains a consideration: that the journey has no single destination, and that its essence lies in the continuous flow of the energy that permeates the universe.
Each work in the Paths series is therefore an autonomous fragment of this voyage: an intersection of lived experiences, an emotional map in which every observer may recognize a trace of themselves.
The lines rising beyond the edges of the canvas suggest the continuity of a movement that exceeds the perimeter of the painting, just as real experiences always surpass the confines of the present moment.
The work thus becomes a place of resonance and reflection: an invitation to follow chromatic and energetic vibrations.
