An opportunity to step inside Marco Adamo’s studio and discover his artistic practice, where football is transformed into a painterly gesture.
Represented by Contini Art Gallery, Marco Adamo has developed a distinctive approach to action painting, replacing traditional painting tools with a football. Through the body, movement, force and trajectory, the ball is kicked onto the canvas, leaving behind the physical trace of the action.
The artwork is therefore not limited to the final canvas, but encompasses the entire process: preparation, movement, energy, the flight of the ball, its impact and the mark that preserves the memory of the gesture.
The visit offers a unique opportunity to enter the place where Adamo’s works are conceived and created, and to experience up close the paintings, materials and tools that define his artistic research.
Marco Adamo’s studio is located inside Teldil Art Gallery, in the heart of Rome. During the visit, guests will also have the opportunity to explore an exhibition dedicated to Igor Mitoraj, featuring a selection of works by the internationally renowned sculptor.
A journey between an artist’s working studio and an exhibition space, bringing together two distinct artistic languages and offering visitors the opportunity to experience contemporary art in a place where it is created, presented and shared.
