AI FASHION — ART BECOMES FASHION
A journey through art and fashion generated by Artificial Intelligence
On the occasion of the 22nd Giornata del Contemporaneo, Antonio Lavorgna presents a new AI Art and AI Fashion project: a video artwork where art, fashion and Artificial Intelligence converge to create an imaginary, constantly evolving collection that could not exist in the physical world.
The project begins by exploring the visual and cultural imagination of some of the great masters of art history — Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Salvador Dalí and Gustav Klimt — used as cultural and visual references for the creation of different aesthetic universes.
Their artistic languages are reinterpreted through the world of AI-generated Fashion Image, transforming shapes, geometries, colours and atmospheres into sculptural garments, visionary silhouettes and impossible environments.
The journey gradually moves into Antonio Lavorgna’s personal visual language, characterised by monumental bodies, transformed materials, organic and geometric structures, material colours, surreal elements and an ongoing dialogue between body, garment, art and space.

The video brings together a series of short animated fashion films, each built around a different aesthetic vision. The individual sequences become fragments of a single audiovisual artwork, in which fashion moves beyond clothing to become sculpture, painting, architecture and visual storytelling.
Artificial Intelligence becomes a creative space where the artist can move through art history, contaminate it with his own research and imagine new forms that do not yet exist.

AI FASHION — ART BECOMES FASHION explores the future of the image and the possibility of creating new languages at the intersection of contemporary art, fashion design and digital culture.
