On 10 October 2026, at the OHT Studio in Rovereto, Abbandoneremo le nostre case. Radical Pedagogies for an Ethics of Ecological Migrations will conclude its first edition with a public study day.
Conceived and curated by Laura Pante in collaboration with Tulls Primultini, the project is addressed to artists under 35 and is presented by OHT | Office for a Human Theatre, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) and SIAE as part of the Per Chi Crea programme. The study day will be an opportunity to share the materials, practices, and reflections that emerged throughout the training programme.

The programme explored the relationship between body, territory, and artistic practices as an embodied, ecological, and situated field of inquiry, taking movement as a research tool. Participants were invited to question postural inheritances, perceptual habits, and modes of learning, developing performative tools capable of opening new ways of exploring and analysing compositional processes.

Laura Pante’s artistic research focuses on pedagogical and theoretical-practical transmission processes understood as artistic practices in their own right. Tulls Primultini accompanied the programme through theoretical contributions and writing practices informed by critical fabulation, ecology, and queer phenomenology.

The first edition unfolded through two educational modules held between June and September 2026 in Feltre (Belluno). Six practitioners — Bri Zamengo, Linda Pietrobelli, Rac Montoro, Vera Borghini, Nina Rovera, and Chiara Cavarzan — engaged with the pre-Alpine landscape, critically and somatically investigating the relationship between body, topography, and ecosystems of origin. Among the programme’s key theoretical references was the work of writer Lidia Yuknavitch.

Hosted at Palazzo Adami in Rovereto, the study day will open a collective research environment to the public through movement and writing practices, the screening of video documentation from the residency, an open discussion with researchers Elisa Frasson and Roberta Bernasconi, and a shared practice led by the practitioners.
Like mushroom foraging, research unfolds through learning to read the surrounding environment without the certainty of finding what one is looking for: orientation emerges through disorientation, following detours, appearances, and unexpected possibilities.
