Guided tour of the Ceramics Museum and the Museum’s Fornace

The tour begins in the galleries of the Ceramics Museum. Here, tools, utensils and historical artefacts will tell the story of the craft of ceramics
We will then move on to the Museum’s Fornace, a fully-fledged production complex that remained in operation until the early decades of the 20th century. The clay settling tanks, the potter’s wheel room, the decoration room and the large kilns still illustrate, to this day, every stage of the ceramic-making process.
