To mark the thirteenth year of collaboration with ENSBA Lyon – École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo presents Just like heaven at Palazzo Re Rebaudengo in Guarene, the first solo exhibition in Italy by Alexis Puget (Paris, 2000), an artist participating in the Post-diplôme 2026 postgraduate research program coordinated by curator Julie Portier.
Raised in the age of the internet and social media, Puget reflects on the overlapping of times, images, and cultural references that characterize the digital experience. Nostalgia is central to his research, understood not as a longing for a lost past, but as a constant confrontation with a time in which every fragment of the past remains accessible, recoverable, and continually re-presented.
