On the occasion of the 2026 edition of Contemporary Art Day, on 10 October from 12 noon, Fondazione Donnaregina per le arti contemporanee, in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, presents POST, a sound installation developed through a workshop led by artist Liliana Moro with eleven students and PhD candidates from the Academy.
The project begins with a question — what does the word “post” mean to you? — and unfolds as a collective exploration of the idea of an “after,” understood not as a completed condition, but as a threshold: an open space for reworking, transformation, and repositioning.
Drawing on the different voices and interpretations that emerged during the workshop, POST creates a choral soundscape in which individual presences alternate, overlap, and intertwine within the space of the Sala delle Colonne at Museo Madre. The work invites the public to an experience of listening and movement through the space, allowing a plurality of meanings and possibilities to emerge among sounds, pauses, and reverberations.
