For this reason, consent to data processing under Art. 6 of EU Regulation 2016\/679 is not required, given that the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of the provisions of Art. 6(1)(b) of EU Regulation 2016\/679, in particular because it is necessary for the successful completion of a pre-contractual stage to which the data subject is a party.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">With regard to points d) and e) of this Notice, the user&#8217;s\/customer&#8217;s consent to data processing is instead free and optional and always revocable without consequences for the usability of the products and services, except for AMACI&#8217;s inability to keep users\/customers updated on new initiatives or particular promotions or benefits that may be available.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Association may send commercial communications relating to products and\/or services similar to those already provided, pursuant to Directive 2002\/58\/EC, using the email or postal address details you provided on such occasions, to which you may object using the methods and contact details set out below.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Methods, Logic of Processing, Retention Periods and Security Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Data processing is also carried out with the aid of electronic or otherwise automated means and is carried out by AMACI and\/or by third parties that AMACI may use to store, manage and transmit the data.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As expressly provided for in Art. 5(1)(e) of the GDPR, the Data is retained for the time necessary for its Processing in relation to the performance of the service requested by the User, or required by the Purposes described in this document, and in particular:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Data collected for Purposes attributable to the Controller&#8217;s legitimate interest will be retained until such interest is satisfied;<\/li>\n<li>Data collected on the basis of the User&#8217;s Consent may be retained until such Consent is revoked;<\/li>\n<li>Data collected for tax\/administrative obligations or contractual obligations will be retained for the time necessary to fulfil the aforementioned purposes and as provided by law, for a period not exceeding that set by civil law and, in any case, not exceeding 10 (ten) years;<\/li>\n<li>Data collected for marketing and profiling purposes will be retained for a period not exceeding 24 (twenty-four) months from the acquisition of consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Controller may retain Data for a longer period in compliance with legal obligations or by order of an authority.
